I have experienced this too. It’s hurtful and disrespectful.

…s who talk about extensive negotiations that lead to impressive compensation and benefits packages. It is as though before I even enter the room, people have decided how much they are willing to pay a Black woman and that is less than how much they will pay a white man or woman. It’s demoralizing.
