I'm actually following your suggestion on LinkedIn, with the help of a connected third party. I don't know anyone with clout at Facebook, though.

You're right algorithms aren't their own thing; they are programmed, so one solution is to examine that programming. That would be beyond me, but I'm sure I know people who could, were they to have access.

My patchy solution so far is to set up my own space for writing about these things. I hope my audience on the other platforms will follow me there, assuming they're able to find the new content, of course. :)
