Thank you, Holly. Here's my perspective. Black people have been experiencing racism (with all that goes with it) for centuries. It has been an unrelenting, multi-generational pressure.

So asking us for grace and policing the way we talk about racism is disingenuous at best.

Instead, non-BIPOC should take a breath and extend some grace before telling us that sharing what we're feeling and what we've experienced is "unhelpful".
