Thanks for taking this trip down memory lane, Holly. You reminded me of things I’d forgotten, like CompuServe, which I remember using occasionally at work in the mid-90s. It was a great novelty.

I also remember doing research for academic papers in newsgroups, though I wasn’t originating content myself then (or, at least, not online).

It’s interesting how people can have different experiences of platforms, isn’t it? I tried building a website with FrontPage, and was proud of the result, though I’d shudder to look at it now. (I can feel another article coming on…). 🙂
