The sad thing is, I'm not even surprised. There's a long history of denying, minimizing and undermining Black women's excellence in every sphere - you don't have to look too far for current examples (CBS and the Algorithmic Justice League, anyone? It's so wearing. Just let us be free to blossom and grow.
